I had accidentally discovered my passion and talent for photography but thanks to God and IBR, I'm glad that I did. I started devoting more time to photography and eventually came up with this website. Now, riding and photography has become synonymous with my existence. I ride and I click whenever I get time as they not just give me eternal bliss and peace of mind but also a chance to meet new people and explore new cultures. So, come 'n' join me in exploring the horizons, beyond borders, through my bullet and my lens.
Hi. I am Sorabh Singh Khilery, a passionate biker who's just crazy about photography.
Known as 'Khilery' or 'Khilri' amongst my closest friends, the passion of bikes had been running in my blood since I was born. I arrived on this earth on 24th October, 1982, and within a few years of my arrival, my ever-lasting affair with this mean machine, called the ‘Royal Enfield', started. The very first time I rode a bullet was when I was just 6. My dad had taken me for a spin on his Enfield and I had a great time sitting on the tank. On that very day itself, I had made up my mind that I should have this machine all by myself some day.
The bullet was the most preferred bike in my family. Apart from my dad, my taaya ji and chacha ji, too, used to have bullets of their own. Papa used to ride many times from Abohar to Delhi on his Royal Enfield.
The first time I rode the bullet on my own was when I was only 10. And since then I have never looked back. But despite having so many bullets at home, I was not happy; the reason being I did not have a bullet of my own. The smile, finally, returned to my face when I got my own 'devil' on 31st March, 2007 with my hard-earned money. The joy and satisfaction I experienced on that eventful day is unmatchable.
After getting my own machine, my 'affair' with Royal Enfield truly began. The thrill, which was missing from my life, eventually came when I started making trips on my bullet. My first trip on my ‘own’ bullet was a trip to Vrindaban, near Mathura. After that, I did many solo rides in different parts of North India.
Then, finally one day, I felt the need for some company for my rides. And my hunt for some like-minded riders, who had the same undying passion for this die-hard devil, began. After an intensive search for some company, thanks to Google, I stumbled upon a club called Delhi Bull Riders (now called India Bull Riders).
I joined India Bull Riders a.k.a. IBR on 23rd September, 2009, and met my fellow IBRian brothers for the first time a couple of days later on 25th September, 2009. After joining IBR, I started exploring the scenic beauties of the Mighty Himalayas on my bullet. It was during these trips, when I clicked a few photographs, that I found out that biking is not my only passion.
